Terms and Conditions
- Brighton Evolving Education Hub (beehub) is for children who are home educated. It is parents’ responsibility to ensure that their child is receiving suitable full-time education, of which beehub sessions make up only a part (up to and not exceeding 14.5 hours per week).

- Please note that due to regulations from the Department for Education, we are unable to take applications for children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

- After an application is received via the Registration form on the beehub website (beehub.uk) and a cover letter is sent to contact@beehub.uk, the family and child will be invited to meet with a member of the beehub team ahead of joining the group.

- Once parents have enrolled their child at the start of each half term, we require a commitment for the full half term and payment is due in advance.

- Parents will not be required to enrol for each subsequent half term. Once a child is enrolled for the first half term, subsequent half terms’ enrolment will happen automatically on payment of fees which are due half termly. Some permission and consent forms will need renewing for each academic year.

- A half term’s notice (during term time) is required for parents wishing to withdraw their child from the group. Those who wish to withdraw their child at the start of the academic year will need to inform beehub at the start of the half term prior to the summer break.

- beehub requires payment for sessions half termly payable before the start of each half term. If fees are not paid in within the billing period, the child’s place at beehub may be lost.

- beehub fees currently cover 2.5 days per week, 36 weeks per year split into half-term packages (of 5 to 7 weeks per half term). This is a full weekly package and cannot be divided into individual mornings or sessions without specific individual agreements in place. Refunds will not be given for missed sessions (for example, should a child be unwell).

- We will always strive to keep beehub sessions running, however in certain unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather or if all main tutors are unwell, we reserve the right to cancel sessions and the session will be refunded. If only one tutor is unwell a cover tutor will be contracted in to ensure the smooth running of the setting.

- In the event of a national lockdown, beehub will ensure that work/activities will be sent out, and as such, the fees for the duration of the lockdown will not be refunded.

- At beehub we value and appreciate diversity and aim to support all children to attend our groups. We make as many adjustments as possible to enable inclusion, however we reserve the right to refuse a space to a child if we feel that we cannot support the child’s needs sufficiently within the whole group context.

- beehub reserves the right to require parents to remove their child from the sessions if we cannot support your child’s needs adequately or safely in the context of the whole group.

- In the spirit of working together as a community of Waldorf-inspired home educating families, we invite parents to join us in celebrating the passing of the year and share the children’s work in progress through regular festivals. These will take place during our usual hours, so will therefore replace certain activities on that day.

Testimonials
Ruby Glazier
(student)
"I am so happy I moved to beehub. I learned more in a week with the Mason Bees than I learned in the last year at other home ed settings in Brighton"
Julie Clark
(mother)
"I just wanted to take a moment to say a heart felt thank you to all the teachers at beehub.
My daughter really enjoys her time with you, and as her mum I have seen her light of being grow stronger since being at beehub.
You're doing a wonderful job with the kids."
Sarah Preist
(mother)
"Removing my daughter from school was the best thing I have done. Before she started working with Ruth she lacked confidence in maths and did not enjoy it, but now finds that she loves it. She is aiming for Maths and Further Maths at A-level. Total turn around, all thanks to you!"
